Here are the additional dates for 'Into The Woods'

"Into the Woods" is having six additional shows spread across four dates in August, thanks to an overwhelming demand that saw nearly 30,000 tickets sold within the first two hours.

On Friday, Theater Group Asia (TGA) announced the additional dates and show times of the highly anticipated musical. See them below:

• August 28, Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
• August 29, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
• August 30, Saturday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• August 31, Sunday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The additional shows will still be staged at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater at The Circuit in Makati. 

According to TGA, tickets for the new dates will go on sale later this month. March 28, Friday is exclusively for TGA Subscribers through online via Ticketworld.

March 29, Saturday is for PWD, seniors, and cash purchases, available only at Samsung Performing Arts Theatre onsite.

And finally, March 30, Sunday is for general public sale, through online via Ticketworld and as well as onsite via Ticketworld outlets.

"Into The Woods" generated so much buzz after it revealed its stellar cast: Eugene Domingo as Jack's Mother, Lea Salonga as The Witch, Lea's child Nic Chien as Jack, Mark Bautista as Rapunzel's Prince to name a few.

Also in the cast are Joreen Bautista as Rapunzel, New York-based Fil-Am Broadway star Arielle Jacobs as Cinderella, Joaquin Valdes as Prince Charming and The Wolf, Nyoy Volante and Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as The Baker and The Baker's Wife.

Based on James Lapine's book, "Into The Woods" is a musical that sees several fairy tales like "Jack and the Beanstalk," "Cinderella," "Little Red Riding Hood" intertwine.

Tony Award-winner Clint Ramos will serve as the overall artistic and creative director, alongside co-producers John and Joanna Echauz and Samsung Performing Arts Theater Executive Director Chris Mohnani.

"Into the Woods" opens at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati on August 7.
