Hannah Michelle Gilmore of Los Angeles withdraws from Miss Universe Philippines 2025

Miss Universe Philippines - Los Angeles candidate Hannah Michelle Gilmore has announced her withdrawal from the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant.

In a joint Instagram post with the Miss Philippines California organization, Hannah bared her decision to step down and to compete at the MUPH pageant this year.

“I truly believe that God's timing is never wrong, and while the time is not right for me to continue in the competition now, I trust that everything happens for a reason and hopefully when it's right, have the opportunity to participate in the future,” she said.

Despite this, the beauty queen said she is “incredibly grateful for the support, love, and encouragement from her family, friends and the entire community.”

“This experience as Miss Universe Philippines - Los Angeles has been a blessing and though I won't be moving forward in the pageant this year, I remain committed to growing and pursuing my passions. Thank you for your understanding, and I'm excited for what the future holds,” she added.

Hannah was among the 69 candidates for this year’s competition.

Among this year’s delegates are veteran queens, including Chelsea Fernandez, Yllana Marie Aduana, Katrina Llegado, Winwyn Marquez, and Ahtisa Manalo.

The winner will be crowned by Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and reigning Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo.

The new queen will then represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025, which will take place on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand
