The National Museum of the Philippines is now open every day

On New Year’s Day, the National Museum of the Philippines announced it’s now open to the public from Mondays to Sundays with free admission.

The news was delivered on the museum's official Facebook page.

According to the announcement, aside from the National Museum of the Philippines’s central complex in Manila, its regional component museums all over the country will also be open to the public every day.

“Universal access has always been our priority,” the museum wrote. “By opening our museums every day and maintaining free admission, we aim to make our programs and services even more accessible to everybody.”

In December 2024, Jose Rizal’s “Josephine Sleeping” sculpture was unveiled at the National Museum of the Philippines on Rizal Day to commemorate the Filipino hero’s 128th death anniversary.

The National Museum of the Philippines is open from Mondays to Sundays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
