UP Manila Chorale to hold benefit Christmas program on December 7
The University of the Philippines Manila Chorale (UPMC) is set to hold a benefit Christmas program titled "Nangangaroling po!: Tinig ng Ligaya, Pagsibol ng Pag-asa."
The event is happening on December 7, 7 p.m., at the Central United Methodist Church, Kalaw, Ermita, Manila.
Fifteen holiday pieces composed and arranged by both local and international artists will be performed at the charitable event.
The program will be under the musical direction of John Steven Verrosa, with Reubel R. Uy as accompanist.
According to UPMC, part of the concert's proceeds will be donated to the Children's Rehabilitation Center to help them in their goal of providing safe and nurturing spaces for children.
"Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to support a great cause. Let us all celebrate the approaching Christmas season by embodying its spirit of giving. With the chorale's joyful voices and the community's gift of hope, the children of CRC will surely have a memorable Christmas celebration," UPMC said.
Ticketing details are posted on UPMC's Facebook page. Tickets are available for P300 each, with a discounted rate of P240 for students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
