ART SG, Singapore and Southeast Asia's leading international art fair, returns January 2025
ART SG, Singapore and Southeast Asia's leading international art fair, is set to return for its third edition in January 2025.
The art fair will be held from January 17 to 19 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, with a VIP Preview and Vernissage on January 16. It will coincide with Singapore Art Week, which will be held from January 17 to 26.
ART SG's third edition will feature 106 exhibitors from 30 countries, bringing to the fore the very best of contemporary art.
Among the returning regional exhibitors is Gajah Gallery, which will feature renowned artists through Yogya Art Lab, its art space and foundry in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
These acclaimed artists include Filipino artists Benedict "BenCab" Cabrera, Leslie De Chavez, Mark Justiniani, and Marina Cruz, alongside Singaporean artists Han Sai Por and Suzann Victor, and Indonesian artist Yunizar.
Other regional exhibitors that will return for ART SG are Sullivan+Strumpf (Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne); Ames Yavuz (Singapore), STPI (Singapore), Richard Koh Fine Art (Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur), and FOST Gallery (Singapore). Newcomers, on the other hand, include Haridas Contemporary (Singapore), Balk Art (Los Angeles, Seoul, Jakarta), Highlight Art (Singaopre), BOL Gallery (Singapore), and SUN CONTEMPORARY (Bali).
Attendees can also look forward to the return of international exhibitors like the Gagosian, White Cube, Lehmann Maupin, neugerriemschneider, Galerie Gisela Capitain, Annely Juda Fine Art, Goodman Gallery, Ota Fine Arts, Cardi Gallery, Zilberman, INKstudio, and ESLITE GALLERY.
The third edition of ART SG will feature four cultural partners, namely Bangkok Kunsthalle, M Art Foundation, Art Outreach, and Delfina Foundation.
Bangkok Kunsthalle, in collaboration with director Stefano Rabolli Pansera, will present ART SG FILM, a selection of films and moving image artworks by various Asian artists to showcase "new film-making practices, experimental film, or historically resonant works."
M Art Foundation and director Zong Han will showcase an exhibit that focuses on M Art's "guiding principles and thematic concerns."
Delfina Foundation and director Aaron Cezar, on the other hand, will platform various programs with ART SG about philanthropy, collecting, and establishing private foundations.
Lastly, Art Outreach will organize a visual arts summit that brings together art experts under one roof.
According to ART SG co-founder Magnus Renfrew, Singapore being at the heart of Asia makes it an important location for galleries to expand their reach.
