Chelsea Manalo arrives in Mexico for Miss Universe
Chelsea Manalo is all set to represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant as she is now in Mexico for the beauty pageant.
Chelsea flew to Mexico from Los Angeles looking chic in a white blouse, blue jeans, white fur coat, and Miss Universe Philippines sash.
At Mexico’s Aeropuerto Internacional, the beauty queen donned a golden modern Filipiniana by Cary Santiago.
Speaking to Missosology CEO Pawee Ventura, Chelsea said she couldn't sleep on the flight because she was "so excited" to get to Mexico.
"I already met most of the girls here with Trinidad and Tobago and Ukraine. It's fun," she said.
Asked what her game plan for the pageant was, Chelsea said she plans to have fun.
Chelsea will vie for the country's fifth Miss Universe crown on the coronation night on November 16 (November 17, Philippine time). The Preliminary and National Costume competitions are set for November 14.
The 25-year-old won the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 crown in May, making her the first Filipino-Black American candidate to ever win the national title.
Ahead of the global competition, Chelsea stunned in various photoshoots, including dressing as Princess Tiana and Rosalinda.
