Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo appointed as EIC of LSE International Development Review

Former GMA News Online multimedia producer Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo has been appointed the editor-in-chief of The London School Economics (LSE) International Development Review (IDR).

Lamentillo, who is pursuing an MSc in Cities at the LSE, succeeded Hannah Pimentel, who previously led the journal with distinction.

According to the LSE's website, the MSc in Cities program "is designed for public, private and third sector leaders who want to deliver large-scale change in cities."

As editor-in-chief, Lamentillo will work closely with newly appointed associate editors Caitlin Rieuwers and Imane Belrhiti to further the journal's mission of fostering academic rigor and innovative policy solutions.

"I am deeply honored to take on this role at such a pivotal time for international development discourse," Lamentillo said in a press release.

"I look forward to collaborating with Caitlin and Imane as we continue to challenge conventional wisdom and offer new perspectives on the most pressing issues of our time," she added.
