Ahtisa Manalo just wore a costume inspired by the Visayan goddess Lalahon!

On Instagram, the Miss Cosmo Philippines 2024 shared photos of her looking like a warrior queen in a bra top and long skirt with high slit costume made with local materials.

She carried a short sword in one photo and a clay jar of water in another.

"In ancient Visayan culture, Lalahon is both a protector and a force of destruction. She governs the harvest, blessing the land with abundance, while her volcanic power reminds us of nature’s duality," Ahtisa wrote in the caption.

"This costume honors Lalahon’s significance, symbolizing the strength, resilience, and deep connection our people have with nature. Her tale serves as a reminder to respect our environment, balancing progress with preservation."

Ahtisa said she is honored to collaborate with young designers, 16-year-old Kyla and 12-year-old Meira, on the project.

"Together, we can keep our cultural traditions alive while empowering the next generation to shape a future rooted in both heritage and innovation," she said.

Ahtisa is currently in Vietnam to compete in the Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant. Her introduction video was recently released on social media.

She won the "First Station" of Miss Cosmo People's Choice voting, which netted her various prizes such as "special 'Hope Star' boost (x2 voting points) in the Final Stage: The Big Bang, a private photoshoot, a VIP party, 24-hour media team support, and the chance to take over Cosmo’s Instagram for 24 hours."

She is also vying for the Social Ambassador Award and asked her fans for support.

The Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant will be held on October 5.
