BINI inspired after receiving Billboard Korea's Voices of Asia Award: 'Anything is possible'

BINI’s first time in South Korea as a group was indeed a memorable one!

The Nation’s Girl Group is filled with gratitude as they received the Voices of Asia award at Billboard Korea’s Billboard K Power 100 event in Seoul.

In their acceptance speech, Aiah said, “Standing here on this stage in front of so many incredible artists and industry leaders is a dream come true. We’d like to thank Billboard Korea because we got to add this experience to our core memory.”

The singer said on behalf of BINI that they are so grateful to receive the award and that it is “ultimately an honor.”

“But this award is not only for us. It’s also for the people who believe in us and who have been part of our journey," she added, referring to their team, management, songwriters, and producers. “To our support system: our families and friends, to our amazing BLOOMs, we love you. Thank you for your guys’ love and dedication that you’ve put on to us.”

Jhoanna also said that being at the event has been a motivating experience for the group.

“Being here tonight with so many talented artists inspire us to keep pushing boundaries and share our music with the world,” she said. “This award reminds us that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.”

The group’s leader also gave a special shoutout to SB19 and their fellow artists.

“To our fellow artists, we admire and respect each and every one of you. To our fellow P-pop group, SB19, thank you so much for inspiring us,” Jhoanna said.

To end their speech, Jhoanna said, “Patuloy po namin iaangat ang musikang Pilipino. Maraming marami salamat po!”

The Billboard K Power 100 event served as the launching of Billboard Korea, and an event to highlight the influence of Korean music on the global scene. It was held on August 27 at the Yeong Bin Gwan Hall of The Shilla Seoul.

BINI performed a medley of their chart-topping hits, “Cherry on Top” and “Pantropiko.”

In July, BINI was in Los Angeles as part of the performer lineup for KCON. They were also able to dance with Enhypen and Katseye for TikTok videos.

BINI is one of the headliners of the ASIYA Festival happening in October.

The ladies are all set to have the two-night Grand BINIverse concert at the Araneta Coliseum on November 16 and 17.
