Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra's Young People's Concert happening this July
The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) will be presenting the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra's Young People's Concert this July!
The Young People's Concert will be held on July 27, 5 p.m., at the Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium. The concert will be in a "lecture-demo format" suitable for young listeners, with the aim to introduce them to classical music and various instruments of the orchestra in a way that is appropriate for their age.
The Young People's Concert will see the performance of young talents Mark Kennedy Rocas on flute, Adrian Nicolas Ong on violin, Aidan Ezra Baracol on piano, and Lizzie Bett Estrada, soprano, alongside the PPO, under the baton of Maestro Herminigildo Ranera.
The Young People's Concert is free and open to all!
The PPO is recognized as the country's leading orchestra and is the resident orchestra of the CCP.
Back in June, the PPO held its "OST Symphony: K-Drama in Concert" featuring the official soundtracks of top K-dramas like "Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin," "Love in the Moonlight," and more. The event was organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Philippines and the Republic of Korea's diplomatic relations.
