Fil-Am Yna Tresvalles will be living one of her dreams when she stars as Anne Boleyn in the Tony Award-winning "Six the Musical."
In an Instagram post, Tresvalles expressed joy over her role as the Queen of England.
"Anne Boleyn(a) coming to a stage near you! –I'm sorry wait. What? WHAT!" she began.
"Don't think I'll ever find the words to describe this omg-wtaf-pinch-me state I'm currently in but for now, just joyful, teary-eyed and grateful to get to see the world with just the most amazing company one could ask for," Tresvalles added.
Anne Boleyn is one of the six wives of Britain's King Henry VIII.
Joining Tresvalles in the cast are Billie Kerr who will play the role of Catherine of Aragon, Liberty Stottor as Jane Seymour, Hannah Victoria as Anne of Cleves, Lizzie Emery as Katherine Howard, and Eloise Lord as Catherine Parr.
Tresvalles recently graduated from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Before landing her first ever professional role, Tresvalles performed at different shows of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including the role of Princess Fiona in "Shrek" and Arachne in "Good Catcher."
"Six the Musical" will be holding a limited season in Manila from Oct. 4 to 20 at The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City.
Tickets to the musical are available via Ticketworld online and outlets nationwide, with prices online ranging from P1,798.60 for Balcony seats to P5,078.40 for Orchestra. Tickets may also be purchased at the Solaire Box Office Level 2.
"Six the Musical" debuted at the Edinburgh Festival in 2017 and premiered in the West End and on Broadway in 2019 and 2020, respectively. It has gone on to win 35 major international awards, including two Tony Awards and a nomination at the Grammys.
The modern pop-inspired musical follows the story of the six wives of King Henry VIII. Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr reclaim their place in her-story as they step out of the shadow of King Henry VIII and tell their own narratives.
