'Six the Musical' is coming to Manila this October

The Tudor queens are coming!

The Tony Award-winning "Six the Musical," written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, will be holding a limited season in Manila from Oct. 4 to 20 at The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City.

The modern pop-inspired musical follows the story of the six wives of King Henry VIII. Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr reclaim their place in her-story as they step out of the shadow of King Henry VIII and tell their own narratives.

Recently, GMG Productions, the theater company responsible for bringing "Six the Musical" to Manila, revealed the cast that will be starring as the queens in the musical's international tour.

Billie Kerr will play the role of Catherine of Aragon, with Yna Tresvalles as Anne Boleyn, Liberty Stottor as Jane Seymour, Hannah Victoria as Anne of Cleves, Lizzie Emery as Katherine Howard, and Eloise Lord as Catherine Parr.

The alternate cast are Milly Willows as Catherine of Aragon/Parr, Erin Summerhayes as Anne Boleyn/Jane Seymour, and Loren Santo-Quinn as alternate Anne of Cleves/Katherine Howard. Izzy Formby-Jackson will stand as super swing to the ensemble.

Tickets to "Six the Musical" are available via Ticketworld online and outlets nationwide, with prices online ranging from P1,798.60 for Balcony seats to P5,078.40 for Orchestra. Tickets may also be purchased at the Solaire Box Office Level 2.

"Six the Musical" debuted at the Edinburgh Festival in 2017 and premiered in the West End and on Broadway in 2019 and 2020, respectively. It has gone on to win 35 major international awards, including two Tony Awards and a nomination at the Grammys.
