'Grace' is getting a rerun in September!

"Grace," Floy Quintos' post-humous play is getting a rerun in September.

The play's official Facebook accounts made the announcement on late Sunday night, saying the rerun will take place at the Doreen Black Box Theater of Arete inside the Ateneo de Manila University in Katipunan. "Grace" will run from September 6-15.

Ticketing details will be announced soon, it added.

"Grace," a play based on the Lipa Apparitions in 1948, has been the talk of theater town since it opened in May. It was only supposed to run until June 16 in Circuit Manakti, when clamor and demand had Encore Productions extend it to another week, until June 23.

Howie Severino called it Floy Quintos' "final, dramatic act of genius." The renowned stage director and playwright, who wrote “The Kundiman Party,” “Angry Christ,” and “The Reconciliation Dinner” passed away in April 2024.

"In Floy’s retelling, this episode was less about the truth of an apparition (for how can one really prove or disprove a purported supernatural event?) than the exercise of power in the Catholic Church, an institution rarely made accountable in the temporal world," Severino wrote in his review of "Grace."

It is a must-watch, if we may add.
