Chelsea Manalo marks Independence Day with a tribute video for Manila 

Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo is commemorating the 126th Philippine Independence in a unique way!

On Instagram, the Bulakenya shared a video of her singing to the song “Manila” of the band Hotdog as she explores the beautiful city. The video featured popular tourist attractions such as the Luneta Park and Intramuros. Chelsea also went on a jeepney ride. 

“From Bulacan to Manila to any city in the country, there's no place in the universe like the Philippines!” Chelsea wrote. 

“Kay sarap manirahan at mabuhay sa Pinas. Tunay na walang katulad. Maligayang Araw ng Kasarinlan, mga minamahal kong kababayan,” she added.

Last month, Chelsea was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2024. She will represent the Philippines in the much-anticipated Miss Universe pageant in Mexico later this year.

Previously, the Filipina beauty queen held a homecoming event in her hometown in Bulacan.

The 24-year-old also had a grand homecoming in her alma mater, De La Salle Araneta University, where the beauty queen talked about her life as a student.

She also showed off her pasarela, which she officially called the "Tampisaw Walk."
