Likha exhibit gathers local weavers, artisans showcasing Filipino craftsmanship in PICC

Likha exhibit returns!

Now on its third edition, the Likha exhibition has brought together 87 local weavers, designers, and artisans from all over the country to showcase Filipino craftsmanship in celebration of the Philippines' 126th Independence Day.

The Likha 3 exhibit, which will be held from June 6 to June 11 at the Philippine International Convention Center, will allow the participants to highlight their craft and connect with their fellow artisans, with the goal of keeping the Philippine traditional textile alive and relevant today.

During Thursday's press preview of the Filipino exhibit, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos graced the opening ceremony.

Other personalities in attendance include Miss Supranational Philippines 2024 Tarah Valencia, Tourism Promotions Board Philippines' Chief Operating Officer Marga Nograles, and Senator Mark Villar, among others.

If you're interested in visiting Likha 3 during its run this month, here are five local artisans, weavers, and brands to watch out for.
