'Unang Hirit' wins at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2024 for set design
"Unang Hirit" just got recognized at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2024 for its world-class studio unveiled last year.
GMA's iconic morning show won the category "Set Design Enabling Special Effects - Philippines."
"Maraming salamat po sa mga bumubuo ng Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards sa pagkilala pong ito sa 'Unang Hirit,'" Susan Enriquez said on Friday's episode. "Mga Kapuso, para sa inyo ang karangalan na ito."
The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards recognizes "innovation and excellence in projects across the Asia-Pacific region that advance the field of broadcasting in the areas of technology, digitalization, and engineering."
Designed by FX Designs, an Emmy-awarded US-based company, the new studio boasts of a 360-degree rotating platform, a graphic solution that can produce animations, and engaging LED walls and monitors.
The UH Barkada moved to their new UH Tambayan in October 2023.
“Unang Hirit” airs on GMA Network, Mondays to Fridays at 5:30 a.m.
