Marina Summers finishes in the Top 4 of 'RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World'
Marina Summers finished in third place in the second season of “RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World.”
The Filipina drag artist’s final performance was a lip sync against Australia’s Hannah Conda, to “I’m Outta Love” by Anastasia. RuPaul declared Hannah Conda the winner of the challenge.
When she got eliminated, Marina said, “Ru, thank you so much for inviting this little Filipina on your big show. I am forever grateful and my lines are open for another call.”
She added, “But honestly, I know I made every Filipino across the globe proud and thank you for giving me this opportunity. I'll always and forever be your Filipino winner.”
Marina also tweeted about the finale.
“Maraming salamat, world. We fought hard on this one," she said.
The series’ winner, or the Queen of the Mothertucking world, is UK queen Tia Kofi.
Marina was the only Asian contestant on the show where she showcased Filipino culture all throughout.
She was also a frontrunner, having won three Ru Badges in the first six episodes.
Marina made an unforgettable entrance on the show with a stunning Filipiniana look and even made netizens LOL after she used Durabox as her luggage.
She made a hit with “AMAFILIPINA,” her version of Maymay Entrata’s “Amakabogera.”
Previously, she competed in the first season of “Drag Race Philippines,” where she was the runner-up.
