Ken Chan's 'Papa Mascot' film wins critics award at Fantasporto International Film Festival
Ken Chan's first solo film, "Papa Mascot," has won the critics award at the Fantasporto International Film Festival in Porto, Portugal!
At the awards ceremony held on Saturday, "Papa Mascot" Director Louie Ignacio accepted the trophy and thanked the festival, the jury, and the critics for the recognition.
Ken also posted a photo of the trophy on Instagram on Wednesday following the film's film.
"Papa Mascot" follows the story of a young father whose daughter is suffering from leukemia. It was released last year and also stars Gabby Eigenmann, Miles Ocampo, Liza Diño, and Erin Rose Espiritu.
Ken currently stars in top-rating GMA Afternoon Prime series "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap," top-billed by Jillian Ward and Carmina Villarroel.
He also appears on "All-Out Sundays" and is one of the team leaders for the show's "summerversary" celebration along with his on-screen partner Rita Daniela.
