If you haven't watched the critically acclaimed Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 film "GomBurZa," you still have the chance to see it—for free!—on the big screen this Saturday, February 17.
On its social media page, the Metropolitan Theater announced that they will hold a free screening of the movie as part of the celebration of National Arts Month and to commemorate the 152nd anniversary of GomBurZa martyrdom.
According to the post, the film will be screened at the Metropolitan Theater and it will be followed by a talkback session together with its director Pepe Diokno at 2 p.m.
A registration link will be available on Wednesday, February 14, at 9 a.m. Slots are limited so it's best to tune in to their Facebook page to keep yourself posted.
"GomBurZa" tells the life and the story of the three martyr priests: Mariano Gomez (Dante Rivero), Jose Burgos (Cedric Juan), and Jacinto Zamora (Enchong Dee) who were executed for subversion.
It reaped several awards at the MMFF 2023 Gabi ng Parangal including the Best Actor award for Cedric Juan and Best Director for Diokno.
