A Luneta Art Fair? It's happening this weekend
Don't look now but there's an art fair happening in Luneta this weekend.
The Luneta Art Fair is a two-day outdoor art festival happening on February 3 and 4 at Rizal Park in Ermita, Manila. It is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and admission is free.
Put together by Puesto Manila, the creative events group said in a Facebook post that the iconic landmark was chosen as a venue because of its potential “to be a hub of art and creativity.”
“Luneta has the history, the space, the beauty, and is definitely where the pulse of Manila lies,” the organizers wrote.
The event promises to feature up-and-coming artists, collectives, creative spaces, art schools, and galleries from the Philippines, who will sell and exhibit their works.
Luneta Art Fair will also exhibit traditional artworks like paintings, sketches, sculptures, collages, assemblages, and photography. Digital pieces such as prints and 3D-printed sculptures will also be put on display.
This event is also a great way to welcome February, which happens to be the Philippine National Arts Month.
Meanwhile, Art Fair Philippines happens at The Link Carpark in Makati City on February 16 to 18.
