Congratulations!

Michelle Arceo, the Philippine bet to the recently concluded 32nd edition of Reina Hispanoamericana, has been named 2nd runner-up!

On Instagram Monday, Ms. Grand Philippines announced the good news, saying "We are so proud of you!"

"You represented our country very well. Thank you for raising our flag," it added.

it ended the triumphant post with an enthusiastic, "Mabuhay Filipinas!"

Peru's Maricielo Gamarra won the crown but Michelle has been a strong contender all throughout the competition.

She impressed most everyone with her Waling-Waling National Costume, serving Filipina beauty through and through.

Before being named Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023, Michelle represented the country in the Miss Environment International pageant in 2022 and received the Miss Ecosystem title and the Best in Environmental Video Award.

Michelle flew to Bolivia earlier this month to compete at the pageant that took place January 29, Manila time.

Brazil was named first runner-up, while Curacao was crowned third runner-up, Colombia as fourth runner-up.

The first and only time the Philippines captured the Reina Hispanoamericana crown was in 2017, with Winwyn Marquez representing the country.
