Japanese Film Festival 2024: 'Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience' returns to the big screen
"Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience" returns to the big screen at the Japanese Film Festival 2024!
Directed by Mark Reyes and released in the cinemas last year, the film cut of the "Voltes V: Legacy" series joins 13 other titles in the lineup of the annual festival this year.
The film stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Matt Lozano, Radson Flores, and Raphael Landicho as the five pilots of the Voltes V robot. They are the world's last line of defense against the invading Boazanian forces, who brought beast fighters in their quest to conquer Earth.
The festival will also screen "Tokyo Story," a film classic directed by Yasujiro Ozu and originally released in 1953. In 2012, Sight and Sound magazine named it as the "greatest film of all time" based on poll of film directors.

The festival will be held at the Shangri-la Red Carpet Cinema, SM City Baguio, SM City Iloilo, SM Seaside City Cebu, SM City Davao, and UPFI Film Center from February 1 to March 3. Admission is free.
