BTS x James Jean exhibit is heading to Manila this October

The BTS and James Jean exhibit is coming to Manila later this month!

BTS worked with the Taiwanese-American visual artist back in 2021 for “Seven Phases.” It is a series of paintings that present each BTS member as a flower.

It was originally displayed at the HYBE Insight Museum in Seoul. The exhibit also traveled to Galeria Kaufhof Frankfurt An der Hauptwache in Frankfurt, Germany last July.

The museum just announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Filipinos can now join in celebrating the artistry and talent of BTS.

“This unique exhibition will take you on a journey through artistry, creativity, and the world of BTS through the beautiful collaboration between the GRAMMY-nominated pop icon BTS and the renowned artist James Jean,” they said.

The exhibit will kick off on October 27 and will run until December 3 on the 4th floor of Building A in SM Megamall.

BTS is currently on hiatus as the members undergo their mandatory military service, with Jin, SUGA, and J-Hope currently serving. They are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.

The seven members have also launched their solo careers starting in 2022.

BTS celebrated their 10th anniversary last June 13. The group released the song and performance video for “Take Two,” where all members were present.
