US-based fan honors Mike Enriquez through beautiful art piece

Mike Enriquez has touched many people’s lives through his dedication as a veteran broadcast journalist.
Following his death, Mike’s fans were saddened to hear the unfortunate news.
Among those who took their time to honor Mike was a certified Kapuso residing in the United States.
On Facebook, Zenith Regado shared her painting of Mike through her page, Libangan Art.
"Mike Enriquez. Kapuso. Paalam po," she wrote in the caption.
"Dito kasi ako based sa US kaya pinapanood ko news sa Pinas lagi, syempre Kapuso ako, saka yung [KMJS]," Zenith told GMA News Online.
In the painting, the GMA Network pillar is all smiles while posing with his hands in a heart shape.
Mike passed away on Tuesday at the age of 71.
He was one of the anchors of GMA’s flagship newscast "24 Oras" and hosted the long-running GMA Public Affairs program "Imbestigador."
On Tuesday, Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales could not help but cry as they reported Mike’s death on "24 Oras."
Following the sad news, Mike was remembered by many, including his alma mater, De La Salle University.
Posting a photo of Mike, where they called him a "veteran broadcaster, industry leader, and Lasallian," the university highlighted the many positions he held within and for the community.
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes also joined the many media personalities in mourning Mike’s death.
He saluted Mike and the legacy he leaves in the industry.
Pia Arcangel, Kim Atienza, and other GMA Integrated News reporters and hosts also paid tribute to Mike.
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and senators mourned the loss of the GMA Network pillar.
A small tribute was also set up at Mike's star on the German Moreno Walk of Fame in Quezon City. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
