The National Museum of the Philippines unveiled on Saturday the marker designating the Quezon Memorial Shrine as a national cultural treasure.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sent flowers to mark the occasion, which was also attended by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
The Quezon Memorial Shrine was officially declared a national cultural treasure by the National Museum in 2021.
According to Republic Act 10066, a national cultural treasure is a ''unique cultural property found locally, possessing outstanding historical, cultural, artistic and/or scientific value which is highly significant and important to the country and nation, and officially declared as such by pertinent cultural agency.''
