Ryan Bang bares plans to stay in PH for good: ‘Mahal na mahal ko Pilipinas’

Ryan Bang may be Korean, but the “It’s Showtime” host is surely Filipino by heart!

On Tuesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Ryan shared his desire to stay in the Philippines for good.

“Dito ako lumaki eh, dito ako mamamatay,” the TV personality said. “Habang buhay ako dito.”

[I grew up here, I will die here. I will live here all my life.]

“Kasi mahal na mahal ko [ang] Pilipinas,” he continued. “Yung ugali ko talaga, Pilipinas tsaka gusto ko yung pagmamahal nila sa 'kin.

[I really love the Philippines. I'm very Filipino. I love how Filipinos love me.]

According to the Korean host, he constantly prays that he may be used as an instrument for good so that he can help Filipinos.

“Nagpe-pray ako gabi-gabi kay Lord, kay Jesus Christ na ‘Lord, gamitin niyo po ako.’ Dati kasi gusto ko magpasaya ng Pilipino. Ngayon, gusto ko maraming-maraming Pilipino yumaman dahil sa 'kin,” he said.

[I pray every night that the Lord will use me as an instraument. Before, I only wanted to bring joy to Filipinos. Now, I want to help Filipinos to lead better lives.]

Ryan continued, “Pagbibigay ng trabaho, hindi lang trabaho, gusto ko pag may chance, basta maraming yumaman dahil sa 'kin. Yun yung pine-pray ko kay Lord…Lahat ng Pilipino! Kasi yun yung binibigay nilang pagmamahal sa 'kin, yun yung babawi ko sa mga kababayan natin, mga Pilipino.”

[By giving work, if I'm given a chance — just to be able to help them improve their lives. That is what I pray. I want to be able to give back the kind of love Filipinos have been giving me.]  

At 32, Ryan also revealed that he’s ready to settle down and live with his “forever Filipina.”

“Nakaipon na ako, Tito Boy, eh. Bata pa lang, sinabi mo sa 'kin, ‘Ryan, mag-ipon ka.’ Ngayon, nakaipon na ako, Tito Boy. I wanna live my life forever here in the Philippines with my forever Filipina,” Ryan added.

He admitted that he is currently courting someone, whom he already introduced to his parents through FaceTime.

Ryan quipped that his parents advised him: “Bilisan mo na bago sya magising. Bago sya mauntog, bilisan mo na anak!”
