Anne Jakrajutatip on some people disliking the new Miss Universe rule to allow moms, wives to join: 'I don't care'

Anne Jakrajutatip, founder and CEO of JKN Global Group Public Limited, which owns Miss Universe, talked about the pageant's new rule allowing moms and wives to join what she called, the "no. 1 Beauty Olympics in the world."

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Tuesday, Tito Boy asked if Anne cared if some people like the new rule and some people don't.

"I don't care." said Anne. "Social inclusion must be here now."

The chatty Thai personality also emphasized the need to be concerned about human rights.

"We allow them to come in. We respect them. We give them the equal chance, the opportunity because we would love to honor every woman," she said.

"We love every woman," Miss Anne added.

"We have them in the competition. It doesn't mean they're going to win — depends on the judges," she said.

Anne also talked about transformational leadership in terms of the Miss Universe pageant, saying "when we elevate the brand to the next level, to the new paradigm, everyone just keep listening."

"I'm a trans woman therefore, I just come up with the concept of transformational leadership," she said.

"It has to be the change — positive change," she added.

"Transform yourself to be the best version of yourself. It's not about being trans women alone but trans women, when I connect the dot, I know the origin. My life purpose here is to live, to teach, and to inspire people to transform themselves. I ask myself why I was born in the wrong body all the time and my life purpose here when I grew up, I knew straight away when I became the business owner," she said. — Kimberly Tsao/LA, GMA Integrated News
