Bea Alonzo, Jericho Rosales to star in 'Ang Larawan' concert
Bea Alonzo and Jericho Rosales will star in the upcoming "Ang Larawan: The Concert" at The Metropolitan Theater on May 6.
The actors will work with renowned musician and Ryan Cayabyab, as well as singers Karylle and Aicelle Santos.
On Instagram, Wednesday, Bea shared a photo of the cast doing a piano session with Mr. C.
"First time performing in a musical theater, and it's both exciting and nerve-racking!" she said. "So honored to be picked to play as Elsa Montes."
Jericho also posted photos and videos from a rehearsal, expressing his excitement for the project.
"We don't know why we are here. We are holding scripts and there's a bunch of guys, singers, actors, and that guy on the piano. We are freaked out. We want to die," he said.
"Ang Larawan" was performed on stage in 1997 and was made into a musical film in 2017.
The concert will also star Kakai Bautista, Nonie Buencamino, Rachel Alejandro, Mitch Valdez, Kakki Teodoro, and Markki Stroem.
