Winwyn Marquez on Women's Month: 'Stay true to yourself and empower other women to do the same'
On Women's Month, Winwyn Marquez took to social media to share empowering words for every woman, including her daughter Luna.
On Instagram Sunday, the Kapuso star posted a photo of herself carrying Luna as they matched in pretty white dresses.
"A mother's behavior greatly influences her daughter's actions," Winwyn began.
"I feel responsible for demonstrating strength and showing my daughter she can achieve anything and manage any obstacle," she added.
The 2017 Miss Reina Hispanoamericana also said that the purpose of her post is to encourage not just her daughter "but all women to pursue their dreams with passion and determination."
"Don't let anyone discourage you," she said. "Sharpen your skills, face challenges head-on, and don't let social media comparisons affect your self-esteem."
"Stay true to yourself and empower other women to do the same," she concluded with the hashtag #WomensMonth.
In May 2022, Winwyn announced she had given birth to Luna.
Since then, she has opened up on social media about the challenges she has been facing as a first-time mom.
