New Omniverse Museum has 'Harry Potter,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Star Wars,' anime exhibits and more
The newly opened Omniverse Museum in Makati City has something for every fandom—whether you're a fan of "Star Wars," "Game of Thrones," "Harry Potter," DC, Marvel, or anime.
According to Mai Bermudez's report on "24 Oras," the 3,500-square meter museum includes the 20-year collection of hobbyist and collector Ryan Sison.
"To create the museum is to share my passion with everyone, to educate kasi lahat naman ng movies natin is based on science, technology, engineering and mathematics, even psychology," Ryan said.
The museum includes thousands of original movie artifacts, props, and collectibles from Hollywood studios and all over the world.
The museum has a cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and limited-edition Darth Vader and Storm Trooper helmets from "Star Wars," as well as "Harry Potter" and "Game of Thrones" exhibits, the latter of which includes a large dragon.
The DC section boasts of a bat mobile and a bat cave while the Marvel section has life-sized Iron Man figures, which are reportedly the first in the Philippines.
Anime fans can also look forward to seeing tributes to "Naruto," "Dragon Ball," "Slam Dunk," and "One Piece."
Solo tickets are currently being sold for a special online rate of P1,499 on their website. Special group rates for 4 pax and 8 pax are available for P4,800 and P8,000, respectively.
The Omniverse Museum is located on the 4/F of Glorietta (Japan Town) in Makati City. The museum is closed on Mondays.
