Philippines welcomes Chinese New Year with colorful fireworks display
The Philippines colored the skies to ring in the Chinese New Year.
As seen on GMA Integrated News reporter Nico Waje’s tweet Sunday, a fireworks display was done at the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge in Manila, making way for an incredible sight.
Several netizens flocked to the area to watch the show, according to DZBB Super Radyo correspondent Olan Bola.

Meanwhile, GMA Integrated News reporter Bernadette Reyes also showed that shoppers flocked to Chinatown in Binondo to do last-minute shopping on Saturday for some food and lucky charms as the New Year enters.

Several more activities will be held in Manila to mark the occasion including a dragon boat contest and a solidarity parade on Sunday.
