Alex Gonzaga has apologized for smudging cake icing on a waiter’s face at her birthday party.

On Twitter Wednesday, the social media personality said she regrets what she did. She also said sorry to those she hurt with her actions.

“On my birthday, God taught me a hard and important lesson. Humility, kindness, and better judgment,” she wrote. “I am truly sorry, Kuya Allan.”

“To my family, I am sorry for causing you pain and embarrassment. I will rise from this a wiser and better person.”

The video of Alex putting the icing on the waiter who held her cake during a party spread on the internet after the act was posted on Instagram stories by one of the attendees.
