Here's an Easter egg about the opening set at the Eraserheads reunion concert
Before the Eraserheads took the stage at the SMDC Festival Grounds on December 22, DJ duo The Diegos set the mood for the epic night.
The opening act of Diego Mapa and Diego Castillo played a nostalgic set of disco, hip-hop, rock, and every genre in between. They even played a remix of “Alapaap” that got everyone cheering and grooving.
But apparently, there’s a deeper intention for that set, as revealed by Raimund Marasigan on Twitter.

“Easter egg. The Diegos’ set was composed of songs from the year 1995 to set up the cutterpillow set,” the Eraserheads drummer said.
At the Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo reunion concert, the OPM band played their 1995 album “Cutterpillow” in order.
In this GMA Cover Story, lead guitarist Marcus Adoro teased at the concert’s press con, “There’s actually a Hidden Mickey sa buong show. Like Raimund said sa ibang interview, only the hardcore fans ang makaka-decipher.” Apparently, this DJ set was one of those.
We’re looking forward to other easter eggs that will hopefully be revealed soon. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
