MMFF returns to the streets with grand floats for ‘Parade of Stars’
The Metro Manila Film Festival is officially back in the streets this 2022!
On Wednesday, eight floats representing each movie in this year’s lineup gathered in Quezon City for the “Parade of Stars.”
Apart from the titles, the floats also featured details that represent each film. Oh, and of course, designs that capture reasons why moviegoers should watch them.
As reported by Super Radyo dzBB’s Glen Juego, among the stars present were Jake Cuenca, Vice Ganda, Mon Confiado, and Ivana Alawi.

This comes after the “Parade of Stars” last year was done on ferry boats from the Guadalupe Ferry Station to Circuit Makati, and online in 2020 due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “Magic 8” were chosen based on the following criteria: Artistic Excellence, 40%; Commercial Appeal, 40%; Filipino Cultural Values, 10%; and Global Appeal, 10%.
