According to Kuya Kim on Friday's "24 Oras," it is in Tagum City, Davao del Norte and stands 195 feet tall. It is decorated with 6,255 multicolored light bulbs and was lit up last year.
Before the discovery of electricity, Christmas trees used to be lit by candles, a symbol of Jesus Christ who is considered the light of the world.
The electric Christmas lights were first used in 1882 after they were invented by Edward Johnson.
