Roberta Tamondong finishes in the Top 20 of Miss Grand International

The Philippines' bet for Miss Grand International, Roberta Tamondong, finished her pageant journey in the Top 20.

Isabella Menin of Brazil was crowned the winner during the ceremony held at the Sentul International Convention Center in West Java, Indonesia.

The first runner-up is Engfa Waraha of Thailand. The rest of the runners-up include Andina Julie of Indonesia, Luiseth Materán of Venezuela, and Mariana Becková of the Czech Republic.

Roberta had been aiming for the Philippines’ first Miss Grand International crown. Two Filipinas have finished as first runner-up: Nicole Cordoves in 2016 and Samantha Bernardo in 2020.

As of this writing, #RobertaTamondong is the third trending topic on Twitter Philippines.

The 20-year-old beauty queen hailing from San Pablo, Laguna advocated for environmental awareness throughout her pageant journey.
