There are free guided tours of Fort Santiago happening on October 15

Care to spend your Saturday relearning Filipino history and culture?

The Intramuros Administration has announced that they're holding free guided tours of Fort Santiago in Intramuros in celebration of Museums and Galleries Month.

The guided tours will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 15, Saturday.

All you have to do is purchase a Fort Santiago ticket, and then visit the Intramuros Visitors Center inside the tourist spot. Reservations are not needed.

Tickets are priced at P75, whereas discounted tickets for children below 18, students, senior citizens, PWDs, and government employees are priced at P50.

Some of the memorable spots inside Fort Santiago include the ruins of American and Spanish barracks, Museo ni Rizal, the dungeons, and many more. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
