Jo Koy's 'Easter Sunday' trailer shows family feuds, balikbayan boxes, karaoke, and more

The trailer for Jo Koy's film "Easter Sunday" just dropped and it's so Pinoy!

From feuding aunties, to balikbayan boxes, to karaoke sessions, it's full of references to Filipino culture, just like Jo Koy's stand-up performances.

The story follows a man who returns home to celebrate Easter with his family and gets embroiled with their antics.

Aside from Jo Koy, the film stars Jimmy O. Yang, Tia Carrere, Brandon Wardell, Eva Noblezada, Lydia Gaston, Asif Ali, Rodney To, Eugene Cordero, Jay Chandrasekhar, Tiffany Haddish, and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Written by Ken Cheng and directed by Chandrasekhar, the film will be released in theaters on August 5.
