Michelle Dee to Celeste Cortesi: 'She is queen well-deserved'

Makati's Michelle Dee penned a sincere message for just-crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi. 

On Instagram Monday, the Kapuso celeb wrote, “As Celeste and I gave our all to win the crown, in the end we always knew only one of us would win.”

“No one can take her destiny away from her because she is queen well-deserved and a true friend for that matter as well. Glad to have shared this moment with you just like we manifested,” she added, tagging Celeste.

According to Michelle, being left on stage with Celeste was one of the most intense moments in her life so far.

“But at the end of it all, I’m filled with nothing but gratitude for the love, lessons and endless support I’ve received. No effort will go unnoticed and I promise to come out stronger,” Michelle emphasized.

Two days fresh from the coronation night, Michelle said that she’d soon post something more to show her gratitude for everyone who helped her in her journey in Miss Universe Philippines 2022.

Michelle concluded her post by teasing her followers, “Mahal ko kayo and who knows this might not be the last. #mmdverse #deepataposanglaban.”

On April 30, Celeste Cortesi was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 and Michelle Dee was named Miss Universe Philippines Tourism. — LA, GMA News
