‘The Kingmaker’ is now streaming free on YouTube, Vimeo

Viewers in the Philippines now have more options to stream the Marcos family documentary “The Kingmaker” for free.

American director Lauren Greenfield announced Saturday that the film may now be viewed on YouTube, just a few days after it was made available on Vimeo.

“The Kingmaker” tells about the Marcoses’ rise to power from the perspective of the family members themselves, particularly the matriarch Imelda Marcos.

“Many people have asked why I did this film about Imelda Marcos and her family. ‘The Kingmaker’ is a continuation of 25+ years examining wealth/power’s impact on societies,” said Greenfield.

The filmmaker also hinted that a Tagalog-dubbed version of the film with captions in all local languages may be in the works. – RC, GMA News
