Catriona Gray is art and glamour personified as she takes us around Metropolitan Theater in her 28th birthday film
Catriona Gray is the epitome of art, grace, and glamour as she tours viewers around the newly opened Manila Metropolitan Theater in her 28th birthday film.
In the eight-minute film titled "Grand Reveal" released Thursday, the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder wore glamorous outfits as she posed in different areas at the iconic reopened theater.
According to the Catriona, who is also National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) ambassador of arts and culture, the film pays tribute to the "Metropolitan Theater in which so many Filipino artists and performers made a mark for Philippine performing arts."
The video showed the beauty queen as an opera enchantress to honor the "likes of Filipina soprano singer Jovita Fuentes and countless opera singers" who performed in the theater. She also graced the stage in an elaborate pink and gold "Sentenarya" couture piece.
In another scene, Catriona paid tribute to Zarzuela queen Atang de la Rama and wore a "Gintong Kabalyero" couture terno dress paired with an ostrich feather fan.
"So excited to create a vision with an amazing group of creatives within the iconic Metropolitan Theatre," Catriona wrote on Instagram.
"As my second (going on third year) as NCCA Ambassador of Arts and Culture, I always get excited at the thought of presenting an aspect of Philippine culture and arts in a creative and modern way. So for my birthday, we're putting on a show!"
