Ayala Museum adds Andres Bonifacio to lineup of limited edition Pinoy hero action figures

Andres Bonifacio just got his own action figure courtesy of the Ayala Museum!

The museum is offering an exclusive lineup of Philippine heroes as action figures, which can be a gift for history buffs this Christmas.

The Bonifacio action figure, which was announced on Wednesday, costs P1,999.95 and can be ordered in the museum's official website.

"Depicted wielding a bolo knife and a torn piece of his cedula or tax certificate, we remember Bonifacio as a significant figure of the Philippine Revolution against Spain in the late 19th century," the museum said on Facebook.

"His efforts, primarily through his leadership of the Katipunan, were important in ending Spanish colonial rule in the Philippines."

Back in June, Ayala Museum also began offering a Dr. Jose Rizal action figure.

Aside from the heroes, the museum also sells other gifts and novelty items such as Leonor Rivera jute bags, nativity scene painted on glass or carved in wood, and scarves printed with Juan Luna paintings, among others.
