Beatrice Luigi Gomez is beyond grateful in her post-Miss Universe reflection
Beatrice Luigi Gomez is slowly settling in and feeling reflective after a grueling Miss Universe competition in Israel.
In a thee-part post on Instagram Tuesday, the Top 5 Finalist wrote her thoughts about her experiences that "taught a lot especially about myself," Luigi said.
"As I’ve settled in my 7/14th day of quarantine, I want to take this time to thank every single one of you for the unending support you have given me during a very challenging journey," the reigning Miss Universe Philippines began.
Luigi corrected what some may have thought to be an easy, glamorous job, saying "the road to Miss Universe wasn't as easy or as amazing as some people assume it to be. It took sleepless nights, unending hours of work, dedication and sacrifice."
"I am very fortunate to have a very strong and patient team with me that rallied since day 1," she added.
Mentioning her team, supporters, family, and friends, Luigi said they've all given her strength and perseverance through out it all.
"No amount of words and gratitude can ever suffice [for] how grateful I am for everything everyone has done and I can't stress this enough. You are all amazing, I appreciate every single one of you. Mabuhay kayo at ang mahal kong Pilipinas," she ended her first post.
Singling out the board of directors of Miss Universe Philippines, the organization's core team, Frontrow, Aces and Queen, as well as her Q&A trainers, Luigi said "this family built me so that I’d be on top of my game even at my lowest of lows. They remained to be my strength and I love you my family, my tribe."
In her last post, Luigi gave a special shoutout to her glam team, and acknowledged how "it takes a village to build a strong queen and I wouldn’t have made it through as a Top 5 Finalist at this year’s Miss Universe competition without the creativity and skills of the people behind my every look."
