Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez is in the Top 5 of the Beauty With a Purpose Round!
On Instagram, the Filipina beauty queen posted a photo of herself clad in a Louis Pangilinan gown at the Gala Charity Night wrote, "Philippines!! We made it to the top 5 of the BWAP final round. Miss World Organization will also be coming to the Philippines to fund my project!"
In her Beauty with the Purpose video, Tracy shared how she came to advocate for solo parents: She was raised by a single mother and was privy to the challenges her mom single-handedly took on to raise their "little yet beautiful family."
She dedicated her entry to the Top 5 to her mother Mommy Chona, whom she lost 11 years ago.
"Mommy Chona, this is for you and to all the solo parents out there," continued the Cebuana beauty.
"This was all just a dream and now it’s finally happening," Tracy added. "Thank you everyone for the continuous support!! A few more days before the coronation night, lalaban tayo!!"
Tracy was crowned as Miss World Philippines last October.
She will be competing in Miss World's coronation night to be held on December 17 (Philippine Time) in Puerto Rico. — LA, GMA News
