Beatrice Gomez shares what it's like to go on the Miss Universe stage for the first time

The Miss Universe heat is on!

The preliminaries and NatCos for Miss Universe is set to take place on Friday night — super early morning on Saturday in the Philippines — and on the Miss Universe Twitter account, our very own Beatrice Luigi Gomez shared what's it like being on the Miss Universe stage for the very first time.

"The first time I stepped on stage, I felt goosebumps," Bea began.

"I got so excited for the preliminaries and the finals night," she added.

Bea arrived in Israel in late November and quickly experienced a luggage mishap when she lost one of her bags but that didn't stop her from enjoying the experience and with total grace.

Bea made history as the first openly out member of the LGBT+ community to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown in September. — LA, GMA News
