Miss World Philippines 2021 hopefuls answer burning questions in intense ‘head to head’ challenge

Filipino beauty queens vying for the Miss World Philippines 2021 crown proved to be both beauty and brains at the competition's "head-to-head" challenge on Monday.

Over 40 candidates from across the Philippines took the stage, two at a time, to answer random this-or-that questions.

Each hopeful is given a short amount of time to pick one of two options and explain their choice, but only one candidate from each pair would be named the winner.

Quick-witted candidates were able to impress the judges with meaningful answers to questions like "Male or female" and "Door or window."

Some questions also took the candidates by surprise, such as "Family or love life?" "Sweet or spicy" to “Wet or dry?”

There are two episodes to the head-to-head challenge of the pageant. Winners of this round will advance to the next round on Tuesday, July 20. 

Miss World Philippines 2021 contestants also strutted their stuff at the swimsuit portion of the pageant last week.

The final coronation night is happening on July 25. — LA, GMA News
