You can actually get a closer look at the national costumes of Binibining Pilipinas candidates

After kick starting its return with an exhibit of the candidates' national costumes, Bb. Pilipinas announced on Wednesday another way the public can see — and get a closer look — at the Binibining Pilipinas candidates’ national costumes.

How you may ask? Well, through augmented reality (AR) straight from your smartphones, that's how.

Instead of admiring it from afar, the details of each costume can now be given closer attention.

“This serves as a preview of what the public would expect when the candidates showcase their unique outfits in the National Costume show happening before the grand coronation night,” Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) said in a statement.

Here’s how you can enjoy the feature:

  • Scan the QR code found at the Ali Mall photo exhibit, on the Binibining Pilipinas online pages, or even below
  • Point your mobile phone camera to the photo of your favorite candidate (whether in the exhibit or posted online).
  • Wait for the video that will appear on your smartphone screen.

The exhibit can also be viewed at the Ground Floor of Ali Mall, Araneta City.

After postponing the pageant last year due to the pandemic, Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. in January announced that the pageant will push through this 2021. The grand coronation night will be held on April 17.
