Philippine bet Roxie Baeyens on Sunday advanced to the Top 8 of Miss Earth 2020.

Roxie was the third to be called during the announcement of finalists, who all answered the same question: "This year 2020 has a lot of conspiracy theories conflicting news. How do you reconcile this with the concept of truth?"

Roxie's answer was:

As citizens we have to know what is fiction or not we have to filter what we see on social media and only check what is valid because as human beings we should only spread what is the truth most especially now that we are in a global pandemic we cannot afford fake news. We just have to work in solidarity unify people to be able to reach out and I am standing here today because I care about the people and mother earth is a loving place that is worth fighting for so no fake news.
