Miss Universe Philippines 2020: Top 16 candidates

From 46 hopefuls, Miss Universe Philippines immediately cut the race down to 16. 

After sashaying in their glamorous dresses for their introductory walk, the following 16 candidates are set to take the competition to the next round Long Gown and Best in Swimsuit:

• Aklan- Christelle Abello
• Iloilo- Rabiya Mateo
• Cebu- Tracy Maureen Perez
• Davao City- Alaiza Malinao
• Cavite - Billie Hakenson
• Cebu province Apriel Smith
• Misamis Oriental - Caroline Veronilla
• Mandaue- Lou Piczon
• Taguig- Sandra Lemonon
• Quezon City- Michelle Gumabao
• Romblon- Marie Fee Tajaran
• Pasig City- Riana Pangindian
• Paranaque- Ysabella Ysmael

Apart from the Swimsuit and Long Gown competitions, the Top 16 finalists were also asked how they are able to create a positive and lasting impact to the world around them.

The candidates were encouraged to speak in the language they are most comfortable in, and successfully related the question to issues and advocacies close to their hearts.

Only one among these 16 hopefuls will be chosen as the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 queen to represent the country at the international stage.
