Miss Philippines Earth 2020 is Baguio City's Roxanne Baeyens!

We now have a new Miss Philippines Earth!

Miss Baguio Roxanne Allison Baeyens bested 32 other delegates to win the Miss Philippines Earth 2020 crown.

During the final question and answer, the final five candidates were asked "What important quality should a leader display amidst a pandemic?"

Roxanne's winning answer:

A leader should display having a green thumb because at this point in time we have a shortage in food supply so it's important to open the eyes of people to embrace having a sustainable life to start urban agriculture at their own homes after all a green life is a better life and I hope the leader will give that to us.

Meanwhile, in the first round of the Q&A, Roxanne was asked, "What is your take on social distancing, wearing a mask, and washing your hands more often?"

She answered:

I think taking social distancing and taking proper precaution is should still be continued despite us being in GCQ. We are allowed to go back to our jobs not because it is safe but because livelihood is important so let us not put our guards down let's continue to take cautions and let's work in solidarity to put an end to this pandemic.
